Maeda Vietnam is a member company of Maeda Corporation. In Japan, Maeda Corporation not only operates as a construction contractor but also invests in various fields. We are currently investing in and operating important infrastructure such as highways, airports, exhibition halls, and industrial water supply systems. In addition, we are also participating in the renewable energy sector with solar power, wind power, and biomass power projects, etc., contributing to Japan’s sustainable development goals.

At Vietnam, Maeda Corporation is expanding its real estate investments, exemplified by the high-end Waterina Suites condominium project. The project stands out for its modern design, integrated amenities, and prime location in Thu Duc City, offering residents a comfortable and premium living experience. Through this project, Maeda Corporation demonstrates its commitment to investing in quality developments, enhancing urban living standards, and creating lasting value for the community.

In addition, Maeda Corporation is also researching investments in renewable energy and has invested in two wood pellet factories, Thanh Chuong BVN Factory in Nghe An Province and Hoa Binh BVN Factory in Hoa Binh Province. Wood pellet products produced here are exported to Japan, serving as fuel for biomass power plants.

BVN Thanh Chuong Factory

  • Established: 2016
  • Design capacity: 120,000 tons/year
  • Area: 5.6 Ha
  • Location: Thanh Chuong, Nghe An

BVN Hoa Binh Factory

  • Established: 2019
  • Design capacity: 142,000 tons/year
  • Area: 5.3 Ha
  • Location: Lac Son, Hoa Binh

During the project implementation, we always comply with international standards such as: Forest Stewardship Certification (FSC-FM), Chain of Custody Certification (FSC-CoC), Controlled Wood Certification (FSC-CW) so that businesses can control their raw material sources through risk assessment of raw material areas according to international standards. These are also the standards that importers are requiring Vietnamese wood enterprises to apply. These standards ensure that raw materials are exploited responsibly and have a plan for reforestation after exploitation, in order to maintain the sustainable development of forest resources, and recover the amount of carbon emitted during the power generation process.

We hope that through these projects, Maeda Corporation can contribute to the renewable energy supply chain and continue to accompany sustainable development not only in Japan but also in Vietnam.
